Welcome to my video tutorial on how to install and use XDCPay, the essential technology that helps with network transactions on the XDC blockchain network. XDCPay is a bridge that allows you to access tomorrow’s distributed web in your browser today, without running a full XDC node.
To use XDCPay, you need a wallet that can handle your transactions’ gas cost. That’s where XDCPay comes in. In this tutorial, I will show you how to install XDCPay on your browser and how to create a wallet to get started.
XDCPay supports Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, so make sure you have either of these browsers installed. To download XDCPay, you can visit the official website or your browser’s plugin extension web store. However, to be directed automatically to the download page dedicated to your browser, use the link provided in the video.
Once you’ve downloaded and installed XDCPay, you’ll see the wallet’s welcome page. Create a password, agree to the terms and conditions, and you’ll be given a secret backup phrase. This phrase is critical since it’s derived from a unique hash associated with your account. Keep this phrase safe as it’s your account’s heart.
With XDCPay, you can now access XDC dApps right in your browser without running a full XDC node. I hope this tutorial has been helpful in understanding how to get started with XDCPay. Be sure to check out my video tutorial for a step-by-step guide to using XDCPay.
